RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2023

We have enjoyed being a part of RHS Chelsea a number of times including having mosaics featured in 3 gold winning gardens. A favourite of ours being this wavy path which was a part of ‘Life Garden’

This year we are celebrating 35 years of making mosaics and we decided it would be a good time to launch a dedicated tradestand at Chelsea. We exhibited several smaller mosaics and a centrepiece specially designed for the show. This was an abstract mosaic, taking inspiration from a passionflower and the principles of sacred geometry. See the colour design drawing and the mosaic part assembled in our yard.

The smaller mosaics designed by Maggy were an example of what you can buy without commissioning a specific design. There are also a small selection of these in our shop

We also launched some paving slabs designed by George Howarth. These are intended to be a more cost effective way of covering larger areas of pathway or patio, Their lines of pebbles match up to create gradiating colour across an area.

We would like to thank Beetham Nurseries for their beautiful Acers and Jane Bradley Yeoman and Owen Jones for weaving the willow panels for the walls. They used a mismatch of willow from different batches which meant the panels were a subtle array of warm colours.

It was a pleasure to meet up with so many people who were familiar with Maggy’s work and who had commissioned some of our most ambitious mosaics in the past. A fitting celebration for our 35 year anniversary.
