Grounded is an exploration of the magic of garden design, our aim is to explore the influences that shape the vision and career of stand out garden designers. In each episode our host, Steve Byrne, hears the stories behind three inspirational gardens that have shaped our guest’s life. Firstly a garden from their childhood, secondly their favorite commission and thirdly their a much admired garden designed by a peer.

We hope by looking through a personal and emotional lens, the podcast offers something quite different to other garden design content. We’d love to hear your thoughts and feedback as the series progresses.

Season 1, Episode 1:

In conversation with Alexandra Frogatt

For our first episode we are joined by Alexandra Frogatt. Based in Cheshire (UK) Alex originally longed to be a park ranger before going on to study botany and finally making a leap to garden design. As with every guest, she discusses her three most inspirational gardens while sharing her appreciation of the art.
