In city centres, pebble mosaic is a good choice for Public Art requiring extreme durability,
& has proved remarkably free from vandal damage (too much trouble!) It brings a handmade, human
touch to these environments. Maggy likes to reflect the spirit-of–place, & searches for themes of
particular meaning for the local residents.The design process works best when discussions are held at an
early stage in planning so that mosaics can be well integrated into the landscape design. The reverse
method of fabrication ensures an absolutely flat, non-trip surface to the mosaic; & usually it is placed so
that an alternative route around the mosaic is available for those who wear stiletto heels….
